One of the joys of our regular travel to Brittany is that we are able to visit our favourite places at all different times of year.
Moncontour is a lovely medieval walled town with fabulous stone and timber buildings crammed into narrow winding streets.
We went to see what was billed as a medieval herb garden and potager which was quite small and fun.
Then we saw an Exposition signed and came upon Emma Gale and her work. Fantastic big bold paintings of one of my favourite subjects – vegetables!!
It will be a real pleasure to see Emma again on our next trip and see her latest work.
